Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one, our carers are here to meet your needs with expertise and empathy.

How We Ensure Exceptional Care

At VersaCare, our commitment to providing excellent care is reflected in every carer we employ. Here’s what makes us different:

Rigorous Recruitment Process

During the recruitment process, we carefully assess hand-picked candidates for their skills, experience, and personal qualities, ensuring they meet our high standards. The personal qualities we look for in our carers are showing they care about what they do as well as showing empathy, warmth and love. During the recruitment process our team always have in the back of their mind, would I want this person caring for my loved one?

We also ensure that every carer undergoes DBS clearance and several reference checks for your peace of mind.

Any candidates that don’t meet our high standards are then screened from the process while the remaining candidates move on to the next stage.

Comprehensive Training and Development

As a private company, rather than an introductory or temp agency, we provide our carers with specialist training to ensure they’re up to date with best practices and procedures. Carers are trained in dementia care, palliative care, learning disabilities, and supporting elderly individuals, among other areas.

They also receive ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest care practices, delivering the highest quality of support to all of our clients.

Our carers receive the following training and guidance:

  • Protection of Vulnerable Adults
  • Data Protection (GDPR)
  • Handling Money
  • Moving and Positioning
  • Medication Prompting, Assisting and Administering
  • Communication
  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Food Hygiene
  • Person Centred Thinking

Our live-in care specialist training includes:

  • Principles of Learning Disability Support
  • The role of a Learning Disability Worker
  • Health and Safety in a Learning Disability Service
  • Protecting People who have Learning Disabilities from Abuse
  • Person Centred Planning, in conjunction with their supporters

Thoughtful Matching Process

All of our carers are matched to our clients based not only on their skills but also on their personality, hobbies and interests. This ensures that not only are you or your loved one looked after by a highly trained professional but also someone you can build a connection with and fosters trust and comfort.

Why Families Choose VersaCare Carers
