I just wanted to say how happy my mother is with Liz as her carer. I am very happy too! I feel most things are in place now and I can return to Sweden more relaxed. If there are any concerns please do call me anytime. I have been dealing with my mums medical matters so am happy to be called initially.
Many thanks Kevin for sending us Liz !!

I would like to thank you for your help and caring whilst you were in my mum’s home with us. Your reassuring nature helped so much during that difficult transition.
With regards to “our Betsy” as my family fondly call her. She is an Angel. She was a true blessing to my family. We were wondering if we could send her a card? Perhaps to your office and you could forward it on to her.
Many times she came and bought reassurance to us all.
Let me know if this is possible Thank you again to you for your support

It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I warmly convey my sincere appreciation of Victor whose actions were professional, prompt and full of with kindness today when faced with an emergency situation for my father this morning.
I want to convey my admiration of Victor’s contribution over the last 10 weeks and especially today as he noticed while walking past my father’s doorway that he wasn’t breathing and as he approached him that there was blood in his mouth. He quickly pushed on my father’s chest and he started to breathe again.
He called me for support and as I arrived he was speaking to the emergency services who soon arrived to do the checks.
Victor was able to help my father even while shocked himself. I am particularly encouraged that my father received the highest standard of care.
I would like to give Victor the highest commendation and for you to know that his care is exemplary.

I also wish to thank you and all your staff and carers, particularly Billy, who was dad’s carer up until he passed away. We were all very happy with the attention you gave to selecting the right carer for dad and I am sure that the level of care he received over the past 3 years helped dad to reach the ripe old age that he achieved.
Many thanks for your patience in waiting for the funds to be available to pay the bill, which has also assisted us at this sad time. Brenda wanted me to pass on all her thanks to the VC team for the care and support we gave her dad. She also said that Billy is an asset to VC and she does not know what she would have done without him during the lockdown. Brenda said Billy was her rock as she did not know how she would have managed without him being there. She described the relationship between Billy and her dad as great.

I have had lots of communication with Kevin and Debbie. Debbie was particularly helpful when we encountered a difficult situation with David a while back and Kevin has been extremely helpful when David has recently spent time in hospital.
He has communicated with the hospital and been very proactive dealing with various agencies on our behalf. So I would conclude that we are very happy with all aspects of the service provided by Versacare.

I am not sure how much contact you have had with Ollie since he started with caring for Reg.
My husband and I are so pleased with how he patiently interacts with Reg encouraging him with everything. Ollie is kind and gentle as he is thinking of new ways to help Reg. He is a good one- a keeper.
Ollie called the paramedics twice on Thursday evening and in the night and myself so I could be there too.
It has been a challenging week for us all but we feel confident in Ollie’s ability to help us.

Having a live-in carer has been a great help for Colin and he lets me know if there is anything that I can help with or need to be concerned about.
Inevitably, the combination of Colin’s unstable diabetes and memory issues can create challenges on both sides and Colin isn’t always well enough to understand why Rob. is there and why he needs his help with food, medication, etc. It’s good that Rob has experience of dealing with people with similar issues and I think that his low key approach is a good way of defusing potentially difficult situations.
It’s also good that Rob makes an effort to get Colin to go out and do different things. I think that it is important to continue to make these efforts as Colin still has good days and needs to be mentally stimulated.
