This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on versacare.co.uk, what each one does and how long it lasts, and how you can change your choice. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we look after your personal information more widely.

What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Browser storage, sometimes called local storage, works in much the same way. Some of these are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how people use the site or measure our advertising, and we only use those if you agree.
Your Choices
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you are happy for us to use analytics and marketing cookies. Until you choose, we only use the ones the site needs to work. You can accept all, reject all, or choose by category under Preferences. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and it makes no difference to how the site works for you.
You can change your mind at any time with the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page. We will ask you again after 180 days, or sooner if we change the cookies we use.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form is being sent by a person rather than a spam program. It runs a short check in your browser and sends Cloudflare technical details such as your browser type and IP address. It does not set cookies on our site and is not used for advertising. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful, so we can improve the site. These cookies are only set if you allow analytics cookies.

If you reject analytics cookies, nothing is stored on your device. The site may still send Google a basic signal without cookies or identifiers, such as the fact that a page was viewed, which Google uses to estimate overall visit numbers. Google’s guide to consent mode explains how this works.
Marketing
We use Google Ads to reach families looking for live-in care, and these cookies tell us which adverts lead to an enquiry or a phone call. They are only set if you allow marketing cookies.

Our phone number is also checked against Google Ads, so we can count calls that come from our adverts. This keeps a short-lived note in browser storage, named after our phone number, which holds no details about you and clears after 3 hours.
When you allow marketing cookies, Google may also set its own cookies on Google websites, such as doubleclick.net. Google’s explanation of how it uses cookies has the details.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy if the cookies on the site change, and the date at the top will show when that last happened.
